Why You Need an Upfront Medical

IRCC requires many applicants—such as students, workers, and permanent residents—to complete a medical exam with a Panel Physician (an IRCC-approved doctor). This exam checks your overall health and ensures you meet Canada’s medical requirements.

Where to Do your Medicals:
